Meet Cinda
Cinda has loved design and fashion since she was a young girl. When she was 10 years old she had a paper route with her sister. Her awareness and love of design began the day she walked into a customer's home to collect money and she was awestruck by the way the home was decorated. She saw a perfectly coordinated color palette and very stylish furniture. That same day she went home and asked her mother if she could redecorate her bedroom. She was inspired by what she saw and wanted to create her own look in a room that was her own. And thus her love of style and design began.
In her mid 20's she went to work for a large real estate developer in the San Francisco Bay Area. She was responsible for marketing their new apartment communities and had numerous responsibilities to get them ready to open. At the time, the company had a professional design firm to decorate their model apartments and the common areas. Having a passion for interior design, she asked for the opportunity to decorate one of their models. She was granted the opportunity and the executives and prospective renters were impressed with her style and her work. She went on to become the company's designer for the next 6 years and decorated numerous model apartments in Northern and Southern California as well as Arizona.
Throughout the next several years, she also began giving styling advice to friends and associates, who sometimes asked for help with their homes. She was told by many people that she had a "flair" for design. Word began spreading and she knew what she wanted to do. So she decided to go back to college to pursue her degree in design. She went to work after college, working again in real estate, but her heart always wanted a career in design. Eventually she decided to follow her passion and started her own business in the Bay Area, which she successfully owned and operated for 14 years.
Cinda relocated to San Diego in 2017 and wanted to continue utilizing her talents in interior design. Thus SanDiegoStyleMaker was created. Call today and take the next step at creating the home you want to live in.
